Voice Reminders! VoCal XL App Reviews

Disappointed that the ear record/listen feature does not work with a Bluetooth earpiece independently from the phone. Have been trying to find a voice memo app that will work with a Bluetooth earpiece. Dont want to always have Siri on while away from a wifi zone. This would be helpful so the application could be used while driving as there is a $210 ticket given out if law enforcement sees you using your cell phone while driving.

Verry good application for meeting,this reminder is very usefull,I use it a lot of times

Basically it works fine however, when Power down my iPhone it stops working eg. no audio ! This is very inconvenient as leaving the screen on wastes power!

Dear developers. This is great app. But plesae, make it possible to play recorded message just instead "you have a voice reminder" so I can use this app as alert clock ehith my own voice "get up! Today you have to be in meeteng whith John in 55 minutes". Now I have to slide to listen reminding but it would be cool to heat my own voice through sleeping. Thank you

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! NO UPGRADE MORE. Developpers disappeared! Big problem: privacy playback doesent work!

I love this app.

VOCAL XL is a simple yet powerful app that can literally change the way you live. It can do many things small but vital things for you. Some of which are; get organized, simply press a button pick a time tell it what you want to do and youll be reminded. Also something healthy to do every night is to do a brain dump; simply Press a button dump all of your thoughts before you go to bed, set a time and date for a reminder and youre done! I can go on, but you can understand how productive you can be with VOCAL, with how easy it is to keep your self organized with time management, productivity, health-wise, you name it VOCAL can be one the apps or engines to help you get there.

Ok for now ,need a few more days to think about increasing the apps potential.will tell you. Now ,well like the app so far ,been to busy to learn some more and refine it,s action.you will get a review I believe you will like .already thinking about upgrading.

This app has been a life saver. It reminds Roger when to take his pills and gives him the instructions he needs to be successful in having his medicine at the correct times. Nurses have seen this when visiting and has recommended to other patients. Thank You

Still exploring features, but Im impressed so far. Two additional functions would be nice: 1. A second alert option, similar to the iPhone calendar, that would allow an alert to pop at a pre-determined time before the actual event; 2. A note field that would allow input of a phone number or whatever. This would be especially nice on the calendar sync function so a phone number could be direct dialed after the alert pops.

Excellent on iPhone. Still getting used to it but, so far, its de altimate !!!!!

Convenient to use. Integrates with calendar. Rich list of options. Overall great experience.

To put it simply this cant send voice reminders. The best it does is send you a notice like any other app. You can then open your notice to play it. The notice itself is not voice thus the reminder itself is just a notice that you have a recording to play

I didnt upgrade yet because I had the old one 1st & after my phone froze on me it just disappeared off my phone & I was upset because it was awesome, now Im debating about repaying for the new one after reading the reviews.

Needs event repeat feature, not just alert repeat but event repeat. Wish it was my voice reminding me right away instead of having to swipe, but thats the hand weve been dealt w/ the new iOS. Good call on getting the "you have a voice reminder" to play for the alert, though it takes some tinkering to make this the default setting - left as-is, its still the old setting of ones own voice which no longer is the initial alert. Developers, consider changing the out-of-box default alert setting to the "you-have-a-voice-reminder" alert.

I have been using this app for 3+ years now and I am very upset at the fact that they wont allow my voice to come up doing a reminder. It really help me go along with my day without having to unlock my phone to remind me of things especially when Im driving. Please give that option back to us!

Does what I thought it would. Never had it when it could use user voice as the reminder notice but that does sound cool.
